HIKING
Revelstoke is home to some of the greatest hiking in the Kootenays. 10 minutes from Williamson's Lake Campground you will find Revelstoke National Park. Feel like spending the day walking through the alpine to Glacier lakes? Try the Eva or Miller Lake hikes. Maybe something easier? Mt. Revelstoke National Park has trails for all ages and abilities. With a paved road taking you to the top, views like this have never been easier to get to! Spending a few days? Head to Glacier National Park and check off a hike in the famous Rogers Pass! An easy day trip from Williamson's Lake. Minutes away from Williamson's Lake, Revelstoke Mountain Resort now offers gondola access hiking in addition to its awesome Mountain Pipe Coaster!
Looking to swing the clubs? Revelstoke Golf Club is an 18 hole course with amazing views of the Columbia River and the Monashee/Selkirk Mountain ranges. Don't have time for a full 18? ROCK CLIMBING
The climbing scene in Revelstoke has exploded! With climbs for all skills, Revelstoke climbing has got you covered. Check out one of the many pamphlets to help you choose the proper route.
Williamson's Lake Campground is just 15km away from Mt. Macpherson mountain bike trails. Boasting some of North Americas best single track, Macpherson offers over 50km of trail for all skill levels. Looking to push your limits? Get up in the alpine and enjoy the views (and climbs) of Frisbee Ridge or Keystone Standard Basin trails. How about an easier day for the family? The city of Revelstoke has some amazing trails right in its city limits! The green belts are great for the whole family!
RIVER RAFTING
Now home to two tour operators. Revelstoke is the go to place for river rafting. Spend the morning battling the mighty Illecillewaet River then enjoy the rest of the day relaxing in the warm waters and beach of Williamson's Lake.
Revelstoke has a great downtown core filled with unique specialty stores to buy your souvenirs. Buy your groceries locally and check out the Farmer's Market on Saturdays May-October. Looking for an evening out? Listen to live music nightly from June-August in Grizzly Plaza!
